Brown Girl Mag + Clane Gessel – Harassment Stops Here – Hosted #metoo discussion

We were honored to support Brown Girl Magazine in their #metoo discussion to talk openly about harassment and look for solutions in an open forum.  Breaking the silence can be hard, we’re happy to help support events like this where women and men can talk openly about how to prevent harassment and strive for equality in the workplace and beyond.  This event was held in New York, with the Clane Gessel studio photographing the event and participating in the discussion.  As part of our mission to help every woman feel beautiful, we believe in helping women (and men) feel supported and talk about harassment issues in the workplace.  A huge thank you to Brown Girl Mag for hosting this event with us.  View images from #metoo – South Asians break the silence, in partnership with Sakhi for South Asian Women, sponsored by Clane Gessel.

We sponsor many events to help women feel beautiful, including offering headshots and makeup to women that have been victims of domestic violence.  We partner with Dress for Success to give women a better self image.  These women that may have never had a great photo of themselves, so photographing them and giving them images for their linkedin or website or resume can make a big difference in how they see themselves, and empower them to ask for the pay and job they deserve.
