Namibia Wedding Photography – Deadvlei Wedding Photos

I recently had the opportunity to shoot wedding photos in Namibia.  It was really a last minute thing, I decided to go shoot a week before these photos, hopped on a plane from New York and flew out to the desert of Namibia.  We had a blast – shooting in Deadvlei, hundreds of miles from the nearest town.  These photos can only be shot early morning, as the sun comes up.  I love the way the light plays on the playa, with petrified camel trees acting as silhouettes to play with.  Composition can be hard, especially with the limited time we had here.  The couple stayed at the AndBeyond Namibia near Deadvlei – it’s an incredible venue, I’d highly recommend checking it out if you have the budget for it.  I’m so thankful to this wonderful couple for having me out – can’t wait to do it again!
